Vacant Sky Parlor

'..electronic headphone music for empty attics..'

My name is not Aetern Limeade, nor Chris Lockhart. My name is not even Limeade. Vacant Sky Parlor is one of my music projects. The results are often songs consisting of vocals, with the accompaniment of electronic music. The intent is to produce something that is somewhat interesting, trippy, and fun. Often this will involve percussive rhythms. Sometimes it will not. Usually lyrics and other uses of voice will be utilised. Sometimes they will not. At the end of the day, I like to think of it as enjoyable for somebody other than myself. I have chosen, for now, to think of it as 'electronic headphone music for empty attics'. Hopefully you will too.

I started the Vacant Sky Parlor project to tackle the RPM Challenge. This is an event, similar to NaNoWriMo, in which musicians attempt to write/record/produce an album within the month of February. It completed that album with some success. I'm not really pleased with it as an album, but I do think I did pretty good considering the extremely limited amount of time I had

Currently, I am working on a second album which is coming along quite nicely. "Octopus Zoo" will be title of this new one, and it's a loose concept album of sorts about the sea. It should be released near the beginning of 2008.

It doesn't seem to me that there's too much more you need to know.
